Hello, I am Robert E. "Rez" Zolezzi, a California licensed Real Estate Broker # 00831661, and I'm not just any salesperson. In 1981, I began my career at Coldwell Banker Commercial (now known as CB Richard Ellis) in San Jose after graduating from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

My wife and I moved to San Diego in 1983 at which time I joined The Collins Companies, a large, privately held diversified development and asset management company with more than $700 million in real estate holdings in California.  I oversaw a portfolio of more than 1,200,000 square feet of commercial office, retail and industrial flex properties in San Diego and Orange Counties, valued today at over $150 million. There I became a vice president and represented Collins and their joint venture partners -- such as Unum Provident Life Insurance, AIG American General Life and many other private investors -- in negotiating more than 800 lease contracts and leasing more than 2,000,000 square feet of space to many national companies, start-up businesses, government agencies, and non-profit companies.

In 1998, I struck out on my own and started a small, successful and profitable San Diego-based commercial real estate company to leverage my knowledge, talents and experience in providing leasing, sales and asset management services to private investors, business owners and public agencies. For the Port of San Diego, I oversaw the daily asset management of approximately 525,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution buildings with an additional 100 acres of industrial tideland properties in South San Diego. When interest rates began to fall earlier this decade, I worked with business owners and real estate investors who came to me to find them buildings to locate their businesses and build their personal net worth through these real estate acquisitions. I have also built my own real estate portfolio and run three successful real estate limited liability companies investing in commercial flex industrial properties, office buildings, apartment holdings and land holdings held mostly in California.
